The Baked Inn is a neighborhood place: a quaint, hometown bakery and cafe blended with a sophisticated urban flair... and we’re happy to be located in a real neighborhood: Centreville in Nova Scotia.
The story of Baked Inn Bakery and Cafe begins in 2007 when its predecessor, one of the Annapolis Valley's best artisanal bakeries and cafes, Saraj Bakery opened the doors to the wonderful world of baked creations made from ingredients that have been around for centuries: flour, water, yeast and salt, the four building blocks of bread.
Combining the best elements of its predecessor: top quality sweets made from natural ingredients, artisanal bread baked fresh daily, and amazingly innovative and creative fresh Mediterranean infused menu, Sanja, the owner and chef revamped the new location's cafe menu and expended into her own neighbourhood.
Our family's business is constantly coming up with new and creative daily specials that utilize the best seasonal ingredients while focusing on old fashioned value and outstanding quality reflected in every meal and each of the hand made breads, cakes and pastries. Along the way , we created wholesome baked goods made from less refined and organic ingredients that fit any lifestyle and respect customer's dietary needs be it gluten free, sugar free, yeast free, dairy free, soy free, vegetarian or vegan. Proudly, this neighbourhood bakery offers unique fare that is free of additives, preservatives, hormones and enhancers of any kind.
